The Asian Center

The Asian Center is the University of the Philippines' only unit with a regional area of specialization. It offers graduate level multidisciplinary academic programs on Asian studies (including Philippine studies), and its faculty conduct research on a broad range of political, economic, social and cultural issues affecting Asia and the Pacific. The Asian Center's mandate is underpinned by law, Republic Act 5334.

 
 

GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center and Auditorium Inauguration

The Asian Center, University of the Philippines, has a new home for its library collection of over 50,000 volumes on Asian studies and its museum on Philippine ethnography. The collections will soon transfer to the sleek and modern facilities beside Romulo Hall which was inaugurated last December 2, 2009.
