Agriculture Secretary Domingo Panganiban (BSA’61)

– led the 34th anniversary celebration of the National Food Authority last September 26 at the agency’s new central office at the Philippine Sugar Center Building, North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.

Senator Pia Cayetano (AB'85cl)

– placed fourth in the 21-kilometer run of the Subic leg of the 30th National Milo Marathon.

Joseph Adrian “Jondi” L. Buensalido (BSGeo'98)

- passed the recent physicians licensure examination. Jondi is a gradute of De La Salle-College of Medicine and the University of the Philippines, where he earned his BS Geology degree. He won several awards while in the College of Medicine, such as the Award for Academic Excellence, Dr. Luis Mabilingan Award for Most Outstanding Clinical Clerk, and Dean’s Special Award for winning first place in the Interschool Clinico-Pathological Conference held in UP Manila. He took his internship at the UP-Philippine General Hospital where he was president of the Post-Graduate Interns. He also won first place in the Interns Research forum during his stint at UP-PGH and was awarded Most Outstanding Intern in Family Medicine and Community Medicine.

Atty. Michael D. Templo (AB'99)

- recently held a seminar to help young people fulfill their American dream at the Asian Institute of Management Conference Center, Paseo de roxas, Makati City. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Touro law in new York. A practicing lawyer concentrating on immigration and litigation cases, he is currently residing in the US.
